Winter is a great time to step away from the city and enjoy snow, fresh mountain air, and good company.
This 1-day round-trip brings us to Kuju Forest Ski Resort for a full day of skiing and snowboarding. Kuju is a beginner-friendly resort with wide slopes, making it a great place to try skiing or snowboarding for the first time, or simply enjoy an easy and relaxed snow day.
For first-time snowboarders, a free basic snowboard tutorial will be available to help you get started and feel more comfortable on the snow.
Let’s enjoy the snow together, take our time on the slopes, and head back to Fukuoka in the evening.

## Day Trip Schedule — Feb 14 (Sat)

08:00 Meet at JR Hakata Station
08:15 Depart Fukuoka
10:15–10:30 Arrive at Kuju Forest Ski Resort
11:00–17:00
Ski / snowboard
(Lunch at the resort – on your own)
17:15 Depart ski resort
~19:15–19:30 Return to JR Hakata Station
Schedule may change slightly depending on weather and road conditions.

## Transportation

Transportation will be arranged collectively.
All transportation costs (fuel, tolls, parking) are shared and included in the Meetup event fee.

## Meetup Event Fee

¥22,000 per person
The Meetup event fee is a shared organizing and coordination fee, covering group planning, transportation arrangements, and advance ski rental preparation.

• Round-trip transportation from Fukuoka
• 1-day lift ticket
• Snowboard or ski rental
• Boots rental
• Snow wear rental (optional)
• Jacket + pants
• Free basic snowboard tutorial for beginners

• Lunch
• Travel or ski insurance
• Personal ski insurance
• Ski / snowboard instructor fees (beyond the free basic tutorial)
• Personal expenses

## Ski Rental Information

Ski rental is included in the event fee.
Each participant can choose:

• Board or skis + boots only, or
• Board or skis + boots + wear

Optional items (arranged in advance, paid in cash):

• Goggles: ¥1,000
• Helmet: ¥1,000
• Knit hat: ¥500
• Gloves: ¥500

Wear includes jacket and pants.
To prepare equipment, everyone who plans to ski or snowboard must submit rental details in advance.
Snowboard stance (Regular / Goofy):
If you’re unsure, ask a friend to gently push you from behind. The foot you step forward with first is usually your front foot.
Left foot in front = Regular, right foot in front = Goofy.
If unsure, just tell us your dominant foot.

## Application & Payment

Payment details will be shared after RSVP.
Your spot is confirmed once payment is received.

## Cancellation Policy

• Cancel by Feb 5, 23:59: Full refund
• After Feb 5 and before the event date: 50% cancellation fee
• On the event date or no-show: 100% cancellation fee

If payment is not completed by the deadline, RSVP may be cancelled automatically.

Minimum Participants

A minimum number of participants is required for this event. If the minimum is not met, the event will be cancelled at least 7 days in advance, and all payments will be fully refunded.
